Tras haber dejado un buen rastro de cadáveres a sus espaldas en forma de split junto a bandas como Yakisoba, gangrene Discharge, Haggus, Putrid Stu o Pharmacist entre otras, al fin los italianos GOLEM OF GORE se deciden a editar su primer larga duración, cuyo lanzamiento a través del sello Despise The Sun Records no se hará esperar mucho. El álbum, que lleva por título "Madness is the beginning: Beyond the darkness of the brightest gore", nos ofrece nueve temas de putrefacto y enfermizo Goregrind recomendado para seguidores de bandas como Last Days Of Humanity, Dysmenorrheic Hemorrhage o Lymphatic Phlegm entre otras.
